The New Edition

TILLY: The Mighty Battle Maiden...

This fierce little warrior is our new puppy. She may look sweet and innocent, but that's just her act to get you to trust her and then she goes in for the attack. Okay maybe I'm being a little dramatic, but sweet little Tilly definitely has little dog syndrome.

Tilly was born September 21st. She is a pure bred Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Mike started talking about getting another dog, and thought it would be nice for Miley to have a friend. For years I have wanted a Corgi so I jumped on the opportunity. Mike wasn't sure about getting a Corgi, but I talked him into it. We found a litter of Corgi pups on kls so we went to go check them out. They were all so cute! There were two that we both really liked, one was mostly black, and had a really calm personality, and the other (Tilly) was tri-colored, and had a very spunky personality. Mike let me make the finale decision, so I choose Tilly. We couldn't take her home that night, they weren't quit old enough.

After a long week and a half it was time to bring our new edition home. She was Pretty timid at first but that didn't last long. It didn't take her long to feel comfortable with Miley. The first thing she found was Miley's tail, and before long Miley became her giant chew toy. It took us awhile to come up with a name for her. We wanted something that fit just right. My Mom told me about Tilly which is short for Matilda and means mighty battle maiden. That was the one! We absolutely love her and are so excited to have her join our strange little family!

GO JAZZ

On Oct. 29th, we went to the Jazz game (courtesy of Mike's job, Norm's Plumbing). It was so much fun. It was opening night and I guess it was the first time they turned off all of the lights to announce the players. It was pretty exciting. Brooke, Tanner, Amber, Trevor, and Trevor's friends all went also. When they sang the National Anthem they had a giant American flag that stretched across the whole court which some local soldiers were holding, I loved that! They played Denver and they won YAY!!! It was a really good game but I definitely need to get glasses, I could barely see who was who. We love to go to the game and appreciate the tickets.!!!

Sorry!

Okay I have been a huge slacker! I have been super busy so I havent had time to make any posts, but tonight Mike is watching the Jazz game so I decided to catch up so here goes....
