NEW MOON

All the ladies in my fam got together to go see New Moon. It was so much fun. And I must say Jacob is pretty dang sexy! As far as the books go I will always be team Edward, but in the movies, team Jacob all the way! It was so fun getting all the girls together to go. My two oldest nieces even came. I sat between Jess(my sis) and Bre(her daughter) and at one spot in the movie they both jumped, and it wasn't even a scary part. It was pretty funny. I cant wait till Eclipse comes out in June so we can do it again. In the words of my niece Bre..."Jacob is SMOKIN'!!!"

The Nielson Family

My sister Jessica did an awesome job on our family pictures. Kim, Shawn and the girls were able to come home from England and visit for a few weeks, so we were lucky to get an updated family picture while they were in town. Jess did such a good job. I am so lucky to have such a talented photographer in my family. Thanks for all you do Jess. We love you!

Jess is talented in many ways. She has the skills to make you look absolutey beautiful in photos, but if you get on her bad side...well I'll just let you see for yourself...

(Mike and Jess have an ongoing battle. Personally I think she is winning)

Mike has such a great family. I'm so lucky to be a part of it. I love you guys

GOOD TIMES WITH THE FAM...

Last Sunday we had a little BBQ with my crazy family...

Our house was a bit crowded, its definitely better when the weather is warmer. We have a great backyard for BBQ's, but this crazy weather was making me anxious for one so we attempted to do it inside. Plus we just bought Guitar Hero World Tour, (SO FUN) so I called up Jess and told her to bring her kids over to play. My Mom, Dad, and Chelsea came over too. I love hanging out with my family, we have so much fun together. The hamburgers were delicious, but the highlight of the day was definitely playing Guitar Hero. We spent hours playing. Chelsea and Jessica were our star singers...my Dad did great too, but would only sing the songs he knew, which wasn't many. Mike was great on the drums, and Bubba did good too (with some help from mike). I stuck with the guitar, although the more I play I'm diggin the drums:) And Breanna was good at pretty much everything. She's our little over achiever who has a natural talent for everything she picks up. Broxton wasn't too excited about playing, he entertained the dogs. I think the adults were having more fun playing then the kids. Breanna named our band "The Dirrty Divaz....(and Mike)."

:The Zaugglets...the face only a mother could love:) Just kidding you guys rock!

:Bubba loves Mike and he is so cute with her. I love it!

:Squishy...Tilly loves to eat his ears, she gets so excited every time he comes over.

:THE END... Broxton was our cold on the floor in the middle of the living room. I don't know how he could sleep with all the noise and commotion. It was a great day, Thanks for coming over and playing with us guys. Love Ya!

The New Edition

TILLY: The Mighty Battle Maiden...

This fierce little warrior is our new puppy. She may look sweet and innocent, but that's just her act to get you to trust her and then she goes in for the attack. Okay maybe I'm being a little dramatic, but sweet little Tilly definitely has little dog syndrome.

Tilly was born September 21st. She is a pure bred Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Mike started talking about getting another dog, and thought it would be nice for Miley to have a friend. For years I have wanted a Corgi so I jumped on the opportunity. Mike wasn't sure about getting a Corgi, but I talked him into it. We found a litter of Corgi pups on kls so we went to go check them out. They were all so cute! There were two that we both really liked, one was mostly black, and had a really calm personality, and the other (Tilly) was tri-colored, and had a very spunky personality. Mike let me make the finale decision, so I choose Tilly. We couldn't take her home that night, they weren't quit old enough.

After a long week and a half it was time to bring our new edition home. She was Pretty timid at first but that didn't last long. It didn't take her long to feel comfortable with Miley. The first thing she found was Miley's tail, and before long Miley became her giant chew toy. It took us awhile to come up with a name for her. We wanted something that fit just right. My Mom told me about Tilly which is short for Matilda and means mighty battle maiden. That was the one! We absolutely love her and are so excited to have her join our strange little family!

GO JAZZ

On Oct. 29th, we went to the Jazz game (courtesy of Mike's job, Norm's Plumbing). It was so much fun. It was opening night and I guess it was the first time they turned off all of the lights to announce the players. It was pretty exciting. Brooke, Tanner, Amber, Trevor, and Trevor's friends all went also. When they sang the National Anthem they had a giant American flag that stretched across the whole court which some local soldiers were holding, I loved that! They played Denver and they won YAY!!! It was a really good game but I definitely need to get glasses, I could barely see who was who. We love to go to the game and appreciate the tickets.!!!
